What makes Farbound different from a standard travel agency?
We design and operate private enquiry-first journeys. You won't find our trips on a booking platform or in a brochure. Every itinerary is built from scratch around your travel brief by a specialist who knows the destination on the ground.
Submit an enquiry with your travel interests, dates, and group size. We'll schedule a short discovery call, then send a detailed itinerary and quote within 48 hours. No obligation at any stage.
Yes. You will never share a guide, vehicle, or departure date with strangers. Your trip runs on your schedule, with your group only.
Your itinerary is designed by a Farbound travel specialist drawing on on-ground knowledge from our local operating teams in each destination. It is not a template and it is not automated.
Yes. You have a named Farbound contact from enquiry to return. On-ground, you also have a local liaison available throughout your trip.
We don't book international flights as standard, but we advise on routing, airlines, and timing and can recommend a trusted flight specialist. All domestic transfers and internal flights are arranged by Farbound.
Yes. Journey outlines are on our website. We can also share sample detailed day-by-day itineraries after a brief conversation about your travel interests.
We recommend a minimum of 7 nights for a meaningful experience in any single destination. Multi-country itineraries work best at 12–16 nights.
We respond within 4 business hours to confirm receipt and schedule a discovery call. The itinerary and quote follow within 48 hours of that call.
We use heritage hotels, boutique properties, and certified eco-lodges — never generic chain hotels. Every property is pre-selected for character, location, and service quality. A full accommodation list is included in your itinerary.
Yes. All Farbound trips are fully private — a knowledgeable local guide accompanies you at each destination. You will never share a guide or vehicle with other travellers.
We design for depth, not a checklist. A typical day has one or two anchor experiences with time to absorb rather than rush. The pace is private and yours to adjust.
All Farbound guides speak fluent English. In India, Hindi or the relevant regional language is also spoken. Specialist guides — historians, naturalists, photographers — are available for themed itineraries on request.
Yes. All guides are licensed by the relevant national tourism authority in their destination. In Bhutan, guides are government-certified. Farbound runs its own additional vetting process on top of official licensing.
We visit and assess every supplier — hotels, guides, and transport operators — before they join the Farbound network. Partners are reviewed after every client trip. Poor feedback results in removal from our roster.
Yes, in most cases. Changes on the ground are handled by your local liaison. Some changes — different hotels, additional nights — are subject to availability and may incur extra cost. Contact your Farbound liaison as early as possible.
Your Farbound contact checks in at key points during your trip. A post-trip feedback form is sent within 48 hours of return. Any concerns during the trip go directly to your local liaison or named Farbound contact.
Yes. Returning clients receive priority itinerary slots, early access to new journeys, and in some cases preferential pricing. We retain your trip preferences so future planning is faster and more tailored.
